Our judging panel consists of seasoned professionals from the battle rap and hip-hop industry—MCs with extensive firsthand experience. We are also interested in individuals who may not have a background in rap or recording but have demonstrated their expertise and effectiveness as judges in other domains.

Is there a theme or specific genre requirement for the songs?
At the Vanguard Music Championship (VMC), we only accept MP3 submissions for our SONG recording competition. Each round of the VMC presents participants with a specific topic, time limit, and an additional task to ensure that all entries are uniquely made for the VMC platform. While our foundation is rooted in hip-hop and battle rap culture, artists are allowed to explore beyond these traditions if it elevates their music, whether it involves singing a chorus or experimenting with drum and bass instrumentals. The goal is to create the best song possible based on the given subject. For detailed rules, please refer to our guidelines in the RULES tab.
